Solving Problems:
1. Sessions don’t transfer to match day
Coaches run good-looking drills, but players struggle to apply them in games. There’s often a disconnect between practice design and real match situations.
2. Overcomplicating coaching
Too many ideas, too much information, and not enough clarity. Coaches can end up overwhelming players instead of giving them simple, actionable cues that actually stick.
3. Inconsistent player development across age groups
Clubs lack a clear, joined-up approach. Juniors aren’t being prepared effectively for adult hockey, and progression pathways feel disjointed.
